BF4 Problems

Post by Rex » Mon Dec 30, 2013 1:57 am

I finally got around to buying BF4, and it runs like shit on my PC. I'm getting nineteen fps on low settings, and I have an i5 quad core running at 3.2ghz, a 2GB GTX 760 and 16 GB of RAM.

All of my other games run fine on high settings, but I can't get this to even run decent on low settings. Am I doing something wrong or missing something. :(

Dumb question, but you've made sure that you're running in "Full Screen" and not "Windowed" or "borderless" in the video settings?

are you sure your i5 is a quad core? I know there are a few models that are but the majority of i5's are dual cores. Make sure your GPU drivers are up to date.

You might also try turning off motion blur.

try installing the direct x from within the battlefield 4 folder.

Ok, I'm dumb. I have been trying to figure this out for like 6 hours over the last two days, and I had my DVI cable plugged into my mobo and not my GPU. Thanks for the help, now please collectively punch me in my face.
