From what I've seen, response to the changes has been positive. uRock's Locker map has loved the reduction in nade and airburst spam. Can't wait to hop on Metro tonight and see just what sort of changes it creates. =)

I already posted a video in the tips/guides section about the new hud options but here is another with some settings can try.

My reactions to the patch:

[*]Overall, the HUD changes are nice. The minimap size increase takes some getting used to (I usually run on 50m zoom most of the time)
[*]Uniform aiming takes awhile to get used to. There was a guide posted on BL forums. If you haven't changed anything yet, basically don't make any adjustments to zoom sensitivity and turn on Uniform Aim
[*]Hit Reg is a little wonky after the update
[*]Aiming is much more sensitive to movement
[*]Make sure you turn off the "double tap to boost" - helps immensely with soldier control, especially if you like to play "entry frag"
[*]Sniping/recon is a new ballgame now - much more difficult to strafe snipe another strafing sniper.
[*]Seem to be getting more network disconnects from the server - dunno if that's TW being a bitch on my end or not.
[*]Visual recoil adjustments aren't fun - I've gone through most weapons already and readjusting the aiming/recoil mechanics is not cool
[*]The adjustments now seem to give LMG's a serious buff - MG4 and AWS are almost like lasers... give someone a bipod and you can't get enough bullets in them to kill them before they kill you
[*]There now seems to be a "peeker's advantage" like we used to see with CSS - you can jump peek a corner and get shots off that actually hit. Dunno how I feel about this just yet.

I like not having visual recoil I just have to get used to the fact that the gun recoil is the same I see it not moving and forget to adjust sometimes. The new jet fov feels weird. And I agree it does feel a bit like when you aim it turns more now.
