just speaking out loud but I think Battlefield's unlock system could be even more robust and not focus on weapons and vehicles but also players i.e. armor upgrades, stamina, actual parkouring i.e. jumping off of walls to reach new heights ala Titanfall (but without the jetpack), etc.

Maybe it could be a simplified version of Skyrim or Oblivion where each piece of equipment has a certain weight value; equipping lighter equipment results in faster movement / higher jumping but results in being able to take and deal less damage. Equipping heavier equipment and armor results in you causing mayhem as a human tank but you can't move very fast or jump.

It might make the battlefield a little more dynamic but if it's not done correctly it could unbalance things quite a bit.
