Just curious what your guys thoughts are on this? And if there are any issues with doing so. I see some people say that it fixes their cpu spikes in battlefield 4.

When they first moved CSS onto the OrangeBox engine, I had to, as the game wasn't really optimized that well for multi-core.swolenator wrote:Just curious what your guys thoughts are on this? HyperThreading seems to be the bigger culprit in the CPU spike arena, which explains why people are designating cores for the game. Cores 0-3 should be physical cores, and 4-7 the virtual ones (which are the "hyper threads".
During Beta, I had to turn off HT because the CPU spikes were insane. They've gotten better with the release, but still kinda jerky sometimes.
